PassFortress Review
PassFortress doesn't try to out-feature VaultKey — it tries to out-value it, and largely succeeds. At $1.99/month it undercuts every serious competitor while covering the essentials: zero-knowledge encryption, unlimited devices, and a surprisingly good password generator with pronounceable-passphrase mode.
Autofill accuracy came in at 94.1% in our test — a clear step below the leader but perfectly acceptable in daily use. The web vault is the star: fast, keyboard-driven, and with the best bulk-edit tools we've seen. If you manage hundreds of logins, the cleanup wizard alone justifies the switch.
Where the budget shows: mobile apps are functional but plain, there's no encrypted file storage, and support is email-only with ~24h response times. Security pedigree is solid (audited 2024, bug bounty since 2022), though the company is younger than its rivals.

Consumer reviews
Bought it based on this site's recommendation and the review was accurate. Fast, stable, and the mobile app is better than desktop apps of competitors. No regrets.
Setup was frustrating and support took three days to respond. The product itself works once configured, but the onboarding nearly made me quit. Hopefully they improve it — the bones are good.
Tried four alternatives before settling here. The difference in day-to-day friction is real — small things like how it handles edge cases that others fumble. Renewal is a no-brainer.
Reliable and well-designed. Had one sync hiccup in three months that resolved itself. The pricing is fair for what you get. Not perfect but comfortably above average.
