SafeCrate Review
SafeCrate — rated 4.3/5 by our editors, from $2.49/mo. The cheapest terabyte on the market.
SafeCrate answers one question: how cheap can reliable cloud storage get? At $2.49/month for 1 TB, the answer is 'this cheap'. The core loop — sync, share, restore — is dependable, and uploads maxed our test connection more often than not.
You give up the extras: no E2EE option (server-side encryption only), 30-day versioning, basic sharing controls. The apps are plain but stable, and there is a Linux client, which at this price is remarkable.
For backups, media archives, and family photo dumps, SafeCrate is unbeatable value. For sensitive documents or collaboration-heavy workflows, spend up to NimbusDrive.

Consumer reviews
I was skeptical about paying for this category when free options exist, but the polish justifies it. Support answered my one question in under two hours. Recommended it to three colleagues already.
Setup was frustrating and support took three days to respond. The product itself works once configured, but the onboarding nearly made me quit. Hopefully they improve it — the bones are good.
Does 95% of what I want perfectly. The remaining 5% is mostly nice-to-haves I'd like to see. Performance is solid and it never gets in the way. Would recommend with minor reservations.
Switched from a competitor after their price hike and honestly wish I'd done it sooner. Setup took ten minutes, import worked flawlessly, and it has been completely invisible since. The autofill is noticeably faster than what I had before.
I research these tools for a living and rarely get surprised, but this one surprised me. Performance matches the marketing, which almost never happens. Two minor UI quirks, nothing that affects daily use.
